Two years ago I visited this remarkable cemetery for the first time (you can read about it here). This time I also visited the castle of d’Asprémont-Lynden which functioned as the psychiatric hospital and whose patients were buried at the site (from 1921-1981).  

I also post a short documentary that provides a piercing image of life and death in the asylum – unfortunately in Dutch only.
